Abstract
The 2011 edition of the Chinese language curriculum for Secondary School has set explicit teaching objectives and grading goals for Oral Chinese Language learning. In conjunction with the teaching objectives, the 2011 edition of Secondary Chinese textbooks contained specific listening and speaking teaching objectives and corresponding teaching contents in each unit. However, in school teaching practice, Chinese oral teaching and testing still lacks systematism and consistency due to three different reasons. Firstly, traditional teaching model which mainly based on reading comprehension and writing skills. Secondly, the difference between oral teaching content and the O-Level oral examination mode. Thirdly, limitations of Chinese lesson schedule. This paper aims to design a phased and systematic oral test framework from S1 to S4 based on the oral teaching objectives and teaching content in the 2011 Secondary School Express Chinese Language Curriculum, to assist teachers in teaching of Chinese language oral. Combine daily oral teaching with formative oral test, to help students improve their oral and oral performance.
