Abstract
Ceramah mengenai peranan sastera melayu dari sastera lama (pra-1900M) hingga ke sastera mutakhir (1970-an & 1980-an). Juga pengaruhnya terhadap bahasa, pemikiran, kehidupan manusia dan kesannya terhadap masyarakat Melayu di Singapura.
The article discusses the role of Malay literature, from traditional literature (pre-1900M) to the literary works of 1970s & 1980s. It also discusses how literature influences language, thoughts, social life and its impact on the Malay community in Singapore.
