Abstract:
"This study aims to understand the use of video-based tools with annotation functions to help teachers capture, make sense of and to construct meanings with colleagues in a lesson study context around integrating technology in teaching and learning. In particular, we examined (a) how video-based tools can be used to facilitate productive and generative discussion among teachers; and (b) the challenges that teachers encountered in the lesson study implementation to posit that the translation conditions of video-mediated lesson study be more explicitly articulated in research studies so as to expand the reach of lesson study in a larger community." -- p. 1.
