Muhammad Ariff Ahmad. (1965). Uchapan pembukaan oleh Ketua Satu, Saudara Muhammad Ariff Ahmad [Opening speech by Chairman One, Mr Muhammad Ariff Ahmad; Speech transcript].
Abstract:

This speech is an opening speech by Chairman 1, with the aim to review the plans that have been and will be carried out by Asas 50 as a language and literature organization. Every member of Asas 50 has a responsibility towards Asas 50 and the speaker hopes that there will be opportunities to work on projects that were abandoned. Among them is a planned literary course which has not been realised because the initial purpose is considered too big. It would be viable if the project is scaled down as a course for members only. The contributions of Asas 50 members in the series of cultural talks through Radio Malaysia in Singapore is very significant. Unfortunately, this talk was stopped in July and August and when it was revived in early 1965, the organizations were asked to contact the publisher directly because it was no longer managed by LTK as it was originally. It is hoped that the committee will make direct contact with radio station in order for Asas 50 to contribute to the talk series again.
