Abstract
The reaction between [NEt4]2[ReBr3(CO)3], dppm , and NaSH yielded [NEt4][Re2(μ-SH)3(C0)6] as the major product. Several mononuclear complexes of the general structure [Re(CO)3(dppm)X] (where X =Cl, Br, and NO3) were also formed as minor products. The reaction between [NBu4][Re2(μ-OH)3(CO)6], dppm, and H2S ylelded [NBu4][Re2(μ-SH)3(CO)6] as the major product, and [Re(CO)3(dppm)SH] as a minor product.
