Abstract: | This study is based on the assumption that a quality teacher is one who enacts quality teaching that is capable of producing the intended learning and grounded in sound principles that are considerate of the learners (Fenstermacher & Richardson, 2005). It also adopts the view that the concepts of a quality teacher and quality teaching are highly affected by the working context of a teacher (Feiman-Nemser, 2001; Hargreaves & Fullan, 2012; Imig & Imig, 2006). |
