Dr. Ruth Wong Professorship in Teacher Education Lecture Series

Issue 1 of the Dr Ruth Wong professorship in teacher education lecture series contains the keynote address by Professor A. Lin Goodwin, the inaugural Dr Ruth Wong Visiting Professor of Teacher Education, given at the NIE Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference held on 2 June 2015. The address covered : Quality teaching : debates and dilemmas ; Teacher preparation in a shifting global context; and 5 knowledge domains of teaching from a global perspective. The issue also gives a brief description of the contributions of the founding director of NIE, Dr Ruth Wong, to local education as well as a glimpse of her life.
