Abstract
"The primary aims of this study were to identify the multiple implementations of drama in Singapore schools, ascertain the professional requirements of teachers in their applications of drama, and assist teachers wishing to work with drama develop drama pedagogical knowledge and practices. Three major questions were considered within our research framework: 1. What is the state of play of drama education/pedagogies in Singapore? 2. What are the needs and requirements of Singapore teachers for the diverse and effective use of drama education/pedagogies in local schools? 3. How can we, the researchers, refine, build and extend our drama pedagogical repertoire at NIE to support our stakeholders?" -- p. 5.
