Abstract
"The objectives of this study were: 1. Develop, in intensive collaboration with students, a virtual set of a youth-culture oriented museum space, set against the context of a secondary Language Arts curriculum. 2. Enhance/customize the virtual museum to provide any specific additional features required (such as enhanced interactive annotation features, search or shared functions, sound/music and art stimuli) 3. Work with teacher collaborators to design the research intervention (includes determination of content specifics, learning process, intervention schedule). 4. Enact the planned research intervention in the form of design research. 5. Evaluate outcomes of the research intervention and disseminate the research findings. 6. Determine appropriate venues for publicizing student-generated innovative work." -- p. 3.
