新加坡中学华文文学教材研究 (Research of the Chinese literary textbooks in Singapore secondary schools)

Abstract
新加坡教育部自2011年开始在全国初中一年级推出焕然一新的母语课本;自2013年,在初中三年级使用全新的华文文学课本。随着新课程改革的推行和实施,对教材改革的理论研究与实践探索成为新课程改革中最为重要的话题。
新加坡华文文学课程自建国以来,在继承和发展之中不断变化;成为了一门独立于母语之外的人文科目。教材是教学中最重要的载体,是实现教学目标的基础。笔者以新加坡在中学阶段使用的华文文学教材为研究对象,梳理了建国以来文学教材的发展脉络,探讨导致教材变革的因素,寻找教材设计思路、编写理念的发展规律以及特征。
本文以教材的演变为依据,从微观视角认识华文文学课程与课程标准、剑桥“O”水准考试、教材之间的关系变化。同时,笔者还以新加坡华文的地域特征与课程改革为背景,力图从宏观视角把握本地华文的特征和精神,以及母语改革的目标与文学课程的定位。
本研究力求把文学教材固有的却未受重视的价值揭示出来,为人们全面认识教材提供有效地参照和启示。笔者将目光投向课程研究和教材建设,以期待新一批的教材能够扬长避短,注重师生的教学感受。由此,文学课程能够逐步走向自我认同的新坐标和高度,建立新加坡华文文学课程的形象。

Starting from 2011, Ministry of Education Singapore introduced a totally new textbook in Mother Tongue in Secondary One nationwide; and since 2013, new textbook in Literature in Chinese has been used in Secondary Three level.
The teaching materials used in the instruction in Literature in Chinese at the Upper Secondary level have been targeted to be the focus of study. The development of the teaching materials in Literature in Chinese after independence have been studied; the factors causing the changes and reforms in Literature in Chinese have been explored; the mindset of the curriculum design, perception of writing and the pattern of development have been looked into.
Based on the development of the teaching materials, the changes of the inter-relationship among the curriculum and the syllabus of Literature in Chinese, GCE “O” Level test items and the teaching materials have been studied in details with the micro perspective. Moreover, with the unique locality and curriculum development of the Chinese Language in Singapore as the background, the writer tried to grasp the positioning of the identity and the characteristics of the local Chinese Language, the objectives of the development of Mother Tongue and the curriculum of the literature.
The writer focused on the research of the curriculum and the construction of the teaching materials, hoping that the next batch of teaching materials will make use of the strong points and bypass the weak points of the discussion, and respect the feeling of the teachers and the students in the classroom situation. The curriculum of Literature in Chinese will gradually scale new heights and dimensions with self-identity, building the its image in Singapore.
