dc.description.abstract | This paper explores the blog Good Morning Yesterday as a source for historical research and a platform for the public to remember the past. By looking at the definition of history and nostalgia, this paper argues that Good Morning Yesterday, despite being based on nostalgia, can and should be considered as a source for historical research as it provides alternative perspectives for the reader/researcher. This paper will also discuss how the blog Good Morning Yesterday can also be considered as a as a platform for history making that allows ordinary individual to participate in and encourages a more democratic process of history making. | en |
